Barry McGee, aka “Twist,” is a street artist in San Francisco known for his eccentric urban characters. McGee went to the San Francisco Art Institute to study painting and printmaking, but in the 80s decided to move onto a different canvas. Using the streets of the Mission District in San Francisco, McGee paints, etches, sculpts, and does just about anything to the urban landscape to express himself.
